We welcome children from 2 to 5 years old.

  1. Primer class
This program is open five days a week from 9a to 2p. It is designed to provide an environment for children to polish their social skills, build a solid academic foundation and foster a good self concept while participating in unique class experiences. This class serves as a Pre-K to prepare children for kindergarten. Ratio is 16 children : 2 teachers
  2. 4-year-old class
This program is five days a week. As children grow they learn through exploration. Teachers assist children by providing a stimulating environment as well as a variety of experiences. Ratio is 14 children : 2 teachers
  3. 3-year-old class
This program is three days a week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays). Children have individual levels of development that are determined by their social, emotional, physical and intellectual needs. The goal of our three-year-old program is to help each child grow and develop in all these areas. Ratio is 12 children : 1 teacher, 1 aide
  4. 2-year-old class
This program is two days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays). We believe two-year-olds need the opportunity to be with other children and to begin to learn to be part of a group. Our goal is to provide an enriching environment where optimal social growth and motor development can occur. Ratio is 9 children : 1 teacher, 1 aide

  1. Managing Director
Music class at The Learning Tree is a fun and exciting time for our students. It is taught by Ms. Jane, a mom of 2 learning tree alums. Lots of singing, dancing, and laughing occurs as we learn songs from and about the cultures we are studying. Yet something deeper is also happening. Our students are not only developing a love and appreciation for music but are also developing their listening skills, their ability to follow directions, and their confidence in themselves to perform in front of an audience.

The two-year-old classes meet twice a week and the 3-year, 4-year, and primer classes meet 3 days a week. In addition to music class, the 4-year-old and Primer classes have chimes once a week.
Julie Frieling, a mother of 3 former Learning Tree students, teaches gymnastics to our children in an extra add-on class at the end of the day once a week.
Sinsei Rolan Nery, thru Chamberlain Studio of Self Defense Karate Studios, teaches karate to the older children as an after school class once a week.  He has been coaching karate at the Learning Tree for almost 10 years now.
Extracurricular Activities
The Learning Tree offers end of day extracurricular activitiess that you can enroll your child in to give them more exposure to dicipline, focus, exercise and entertainment.  We provide access to on-campus extras such as gymnastics, karate and art and we encourage our Learning Tree families to work together to form other outside of school sporting teams through such organizations as the YMCA.
Art is offered once a week and children explore their creative sides with projects to grow their inner artist.
